Yup I applied through GTTR! I applied to Aberystwyth, bangor, cardiff and swansea!
Regardless of where I go I'll be leaving home! I just don't think it would be worth the risk at this late stage as all of the courses are starting to fill up!
    Really want QUB tho!

I haven't even registered with GTTR because I didn't need to in order to apply to QUB- can't face the application process all over again! :s but I do need a teaching place so there might not be anything else for it!

Its an easy enough process! I managed to register and fill it all in and send it to my reference in about an hour!
Took a lot off my mind tbh....brilliant with exams coming up too!

I'll maybe have a look at it myself. I don't want to be left with nothing for September! And with the way things are going so far, I prob will hear from Queens too late to have a chance elsewhere!!!

    Any one heard anything yet?
I'm growing more impatient by the day now lol

Unfortunately Queen's is my only option because I'm not in the position to move away. Just wish they would get their act together and let us know :-(

Ive not heard anything either. I know every year is different but another girl I know on the course this year found out 10th may. So I'm hoping it's going to be soon! It's not exactly fair, but I guess when they have that big a demand for places they can take as long as they want!!

10th of May wouldn't be too bad at this stage! 9 more days is nothin in comparison to the weeks we've already waited!!
I think i might ring tomorrow and see if there's been any changes in what they're saying to people now!

Honestly, our postie must think I'm mental. Practically race her to the door when I see her coming up the path...
Think there might be some sort of restraining order or men in white coats called by the time a week is up.

No, still nothing I wish they would just get their act together and let us know! At this point I'm starting to think I don't care whether I get it or not, just not having to worry and wonder about it any more would be good enough!

So I heard yesterday that my mum's friend's cousin (random link, I know) got rejected for a PGCE last week. I've been told they deal out the rejection letters first, so here's hoping the acceptance letters will be on the way soon...?

    Re: Pgce qub 2012
oh what? really? I guess that is good news, however I will dread opening a letter that may come this week considering it could still be the bad batch! I was thinking that it could be any time from tomorrow, considering today is the first working day of this week.
Was that PGCE definitely in Queens? I know UUC have made their offers and I know Stranmillis made offers and rejections last week.
Fingers crossed for this week guys, only so much waiting a girl can do!!

Also, in my desperate plea to find some answers, I have noticed a post on another forum on here regarding the waiting list, and it was created 30 May 2011. So I am thinking our time is just around the corner..
