Chances of a 2:1?
Hi everyone, I don't know if this is where I should be posting this topic so apologies in advance if it should be somewhere else.
I'm still in my 3rd year of the LLB Scots Law degree at Strathclyde but I'm starting to worry for next year with honours. I continue to hit between 55-59% on almost everything (with a rare 65+% mark) and I really want to get a 2:1 but it seems as if I'm going to come up a little short.
I've asked all of the lecturers and even the head of department but nobody can give me a general answer of what I need to do to score an extra 5% to get over 60% consecutively. They also told me that I shouldn't be worried because it is still a good mark on the LLB.
Anyway I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience or any advice on how to start improving my grades. Also, do they try to find you an extra few percent in honours? Someone told me they do. Thanks in advance!Last edited by davg13; 30-03-2012 at 13:25.
