where are u studying the NMR spectroscopy chapter from???

Are you sure thats an ester bond, looks like an ether bond to me but i aint too sure.

Learn about the different oxidation states and learn how to go from Cr6+ to Cr 3+ and then Cr3+ to Cr2+
Cr2+ is unstable.
Read your book and you should see this in detail -

I dont have a book as my teacher told us not to buy it because he usually makes the notes for us and then gives it to us in the form of powerpoint presentation or sheets. I was hoping i didnt have to learn it but errrgh!!!(Original post by James A)
