    No problem.

I ended up getting 120/120 in the paper, I was completely suprised. But no complaints here, .

I've got loads more chemfact sheets, about 120. I can upload them if you like.
Yeah, that will be nice if you could upload them

A lot of people got 120ums, was it that easy or that hard?
Had to be one of them

Try some nuffield, its really similar to new spec. Although you'll find some unit 5 stuff in unit 4.

I got 38/40 in Unit 6, so all I need is a D grade in unit 5 to get an A.
wow thats lovely !! ill be sitting for unit 6 this year , have any good tips ?! what do i need to revise it seems a lot for unit 6 even though the paper is tiny ! i mean unit 1 2 4 and 5 theres a bit of everything in unit 6 ....what do you suggest ?!

Okay, i'll zip 'em up and upload it on mediafire.

It was easy, but the grade boundaries won't support me on that. It was like 56 or something for an A.

I actually looked at the markscheme that was released a couple of days before results day, I was just like 'I'll be lucky to get an A'.

Then come results day, 120/120;

I'm guessing your referring to the other Unit 6B. I did the internally assessed Unit 6, doing practicals and stuff.

So I'm sorry, I cant help you here.

Do you guys read the examiners reports?

It helps a ton of a lot to avoid common pitfall traps the examiners love to lay down.

Does anyone know how the apparatus should be drawn if we want to carry out steam distillation.

The MS is very vague, Jan 11, unit 5.

Do we have to draw the steam source (hot water) with a tube attached to the reactant mixture (in a rounded shaped flask with the reactants and water) followed by another tube (with a water jacket, going to the product in a conical flask ?

For page 1 do we have to learn nitrile to carboxylic acid?

That's not shown in either the George Facer book or the CGP guide....

Its a real pain, we need to remember all those reactions/condtions, in addition to all the tests we've done in AS and A2 as in test for halides, -OH, -C=O etc.

Here's something else you'll find useful

Tests and observations for organic compounds:
