Out of interest, will you be doing this again next year and how much was it?
It hasn't been confirmed yet but yes I can't see why we wouldn't. It went really well and I think most of those in this forum will agree it's got to happen next year.

Aw, bless, as if you think we're getting it back...
I'll be getting it back in full or my complaining hat will be donned. They spent a total of 5 minutes in the flat inspecting stuff and then told us to wash the bin.

In a "hotel" where we left it cleaner than when we move in they'd have some cheek to take some of the deposit.

This is how those places make their money.
Ok, majority of times - no problems. But every now and then..... Our room was immaculate - I've had many a year experience of room inspections and now how to clean something top to bottom to satisfy even the most gnarled and hateful NCO - yet I'm still working on the assumption that no money will come back. It's just easier that way.

IT is that kinda thing they will get you on.

    Remember that 5 x £40 = £200, not an insignificant sum.

They but they didn't wash the bin, I did I said "it was like that when we moved in, as per our inventory" and the Ski Alpine rep (Hannah?) just said "wash it or you'll be charged". She was in a lovely mood that evening

If no body else gave a crap in my room I would have just left the place in an absolute heap and let them keep the deposit :P on me hols so cleaning is kept to a minimum. I must say, at least they supplied us with a load of cleaning materials *rolls eyes*

Massive thanks to all those who made the trip a good one, both on the Ski Alpine and TSR side of things.

I only came on here looking for a web developer n ended up with a pretty decent holiday! Petey, Gandulf, Scouse, Titchmarsh, Prince etc etc etc, good meeting with you.

TSR should go into celeb lookalikes as there are a few on here. Ill say thanks from Robbo too, as he's pretty naff with PC's n wont know how to log on.

    Bournemouth til I die........?

I think for now the best thing to do with photos is tag the student room in them if you put them on facebook, or upload them to the ski trip group on here.. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-S...oom/8854458628
Will upload mine at some point soon :yy:

Hullo Blighty! Exciting drama as the coach takes a wrong route and has to navigate a difficult corner.

Well, that's the Manchester drop off finished. Guess that means the trip is officially over and done with.
We only had to contend with about 10 wrong turns, cutting numerous people up and smashing the windscreen after hitting a pheasant!
Forgot about both of those until now, certainly made the journey slightly more fun
