Re: Post Election results and discussion
UKIP are in the process of electing two of its MPs - The Leader and Deputy Leader are the first two.
Candidates are to be announced tonight; and we've been told that if there are only two then they will be automatically deemed elected - so we might have ours by tonight. -
Re: Post Election results and discussionSo are you back in the game then?(Original post by Matthew_Lowson)

Who is the UKIP DL? -
Re: Post Election results and discussionLife_peer is the deputy leader of TSR UKIP. Has been since 5th December 2010. He's one of the longest serving deputy leaders around now.(Original post by Rakas21)

Re: Post Election results and discussion
Seeing as Rakas21, before the election (when he was so embarrassingly confident of a victory) stated that Labour should not seek to form a coalition if they were the second largest party, why exactly are reports coming that he, being the leader of the actual second largest party, is trying to form a coalition?

Re: Post Election results and discussion
I said you should step aside when in government and said that you did not have the confidence of the House during the election but i never specifically said you should not try, i simply asked that you not for the good of the House.
In response to your question we did see a small gain so it was not a rejection and we do not believe that Labour can be entrusted to run an effective government.
Should Labour have the confidence of this House then it will form a government, should it not then there will be a viable alternative.Last edited by Rakas21; 03-04-2012 at 17:43. -
Re: Post Election results and discussionAgreed - disgusting.(Original post by Mr Dangermouse)
Hypocrisy.
That's the exact quote. I'm putting it in my signature - just so everybody knows he is trying to 'depose of the will of the electorate by attempting to form a losing coalition'.(Original post by Rakas21)
Would Labour please confirm their intentions.
Should you come second, would you confirm that you would not seek to depose of the will of the electorate by attempting to form a losing coalition given that in the VoNC you stated that one of the reasons for this election is that as the largest party you had the mandate? -
Re: Post Election results and discussionWhat reports?(Original post by Maddog Jones)
Why exactly are reports coming that he, being the leader of the actual second largest party, is trying to form a coalition?
And also, Labour don't have the confidence of the house so why should they be in power?
