Re: Post Election results and discussionI think one of our advantages it that everyone in the party seems to be capable of producing a lot of bills for their departments, whereas in previous years we've had people who couldn't really think of any bills for their dept. Makes things miles easier(Original post by Rakas21)

I find it funny watching JPKC trying to stress the "differences" between Labour and other parties, clearly in the hope we won't be able to form a coalition. I think someone is more than a little bitter. Thankfully, nobody seems to be falling for it.
You cruised to victory last night because of RL events, not your record here - which is incredibly poor.

Other than TopHat, who occasionally engages with policy debate (like he did during the election), no Labour Party person has done any proper arguing here - no debating. I was literally the only member commenting more than one sentence on issues in the House - also in the Party sub-forum (though I won't go into detail there). You, xXediXx, David, the Chancellor have not contributed anything even vaguely intellectual and I would like to see that change before I reinvest my confidence in TSR Labour.(Original post by mevidek)

First Past The Post wouldn't really work in Model elections such as these because there are no proper/set constituencies in the Model. Frankly speaking, the structure of FPTP is too complicated for this forum. Hence, Proportional Representation is probably the best way to hold an election in the MHoC
Actually, there are 650 Members of Parliament. There aren't that many seats here because of my previous statement, and frankly speaking, we wouldn't have the activity to justify 650 or so seats.
