Bought a netbook, now I regret it
As the title says. I bought a netbook just yesterday, and I used it today, and I'm starting to think I didn't invest my money well. Reasons:
    1) The keyboard has arab letters, making it nearly impossible for me to type in spanish, since the order of the symbols is changed. Granted, I can change the keyboard language to "spanish", but then I have to "remember" where all the keys are  (symbols only)
    2) The size of the keyboard is to small. More specifically, the arrows are too small.

On the plus side, the screen size hasn't been an issue for me. The battery life is superb and the weight is too.

I don't know whether my impression is based on the fact that I'm very used to using my old notebook or the fact that I've only used it to type TeX documents, so I've been using loads of symbols. Typing normally isn't a problem. Will programming be a problem?

Is there any way I can manually solve problem number 1 without having to replace the keyboard? Idk, sticking some papers onto the keys maybe? How much would it cost me to change it?

    Thanks!

I'm a bit confused why you bought a netty with a keyboard that has Arabic characters on them

I live in Argentina, the country where all electronic devices are extremely overpriced. My sister lives in UAE, so I asked her to buy me one for half the price. I could actually sell the thing and still earn money!

I'm sorry. Didn't know that :hugs:

Anyway, a mate of mine put stickers, like you mentioned, when they were trying to learn Arabic ironically

Can you buy a keyboard to plug into it perhaps? If possible some form of small folding one?

Alternatively, could you just 'paint' over the keys and keep the settings on Spanish?

If the OS is set to English I can't imagine software being a problem.

you could probably order latin keys from the manufacturer/ebay... keys are very easy to remove/replace
