And by "quanty" I think he means quantitative roles as in "quants" -

By the way, just so you know, typically you'll need to chose just the one role. It will fill your day, trust me. Working in all those areas simultaneously is a sure-fire fast-track to burnout. Then you'll be pushing trolleys around Sainsburys in a fraying Ted Baker suit in your mid 40s.
