The college fee - any ideas?
    Some background info :

I have previous incomplete studies and will only receive a tuition fee loan and maintenance grant in my third year of the BA.

The only government funding I will receive is a £5500 maintenance loan each year for the first two years.

I am a UK student, according to my Fee Status/residency/etc.

My question : do I need to pay the college fee for the first two years, because I am not eligible for a tuition fee loan? Or does the maintenance loan I get mean I do not need to pay the college fee?

Just thought I would check if anyone is in/has been in the same situation before I get on the phone tomorrow!

As far as I'm aware, the College Fee is not payable by UK students under any circumstances, regardless of your fee status. If in doubt, though, speak to the Central Admissions Office: speaking from experience, they're lovely people and are always more than happy to help.
