Need help asap, to drop out of uni, or not??!
Hi,
Basically, I'm studying Env Science at NTU, just coming to the end of my first year and absolutely hate it, the subject content is dull and of little interest to me. When people ask me what I enjoy about my subject I cannot give them a straight forward answer. So was thinking of dropping out, doing another A level which would enable me to apply to a university I've always wanted to go to, studying criminology which I definitely have more of an interest in. (the subjects I have A levels in would not all allow me to apply to my desired uni.)
I just want to know peoples thoughts on wether I should stay doing something I hate, or pursue something else I'm sure I would find of more interest? And also does anyone know of any reputable places to study A levels, maybe intensive ones? Or any online courses, which I'm sure would be significantly cheaper.
Thanks for anyones feedback.

Re: Need help asap, to drop out of uni, or not??!Pursue something which you actually want to do. Don't stay in something just for the sake of it, especially if you hate it. Financially it will be a loss, paying for first year but not getting anything out of it, but it's worth dropping to do something you really enjoy!(Original post by Bron-93)

I'm not sure about A level courses, is there not a local college that does them?
Don't do something you don't want to do, the worst thing you can do in life is live unhappily.
Good luck, I hope you make the right decisions and get to where you want to be!

Thanks for replying, yeah I agree totally, I'm sure I would enjoy studying criminology. Anything seems better than env science to be honest. It's just finding somewhere I can do another A level, I know I could probably go to a local college, its just taking another 2 years to get to where I want to be, unless I can do an intensive course somewhere.
Thanks for your advice anyway
