Can you unblock an iPhone after network have blocked it?
This week I had my iPhone stolen and sadly I don't have insurance, just because it's soooo expensive. Anyway, my Dad has an iPhone with insurance and is contemplating saying his is lost and then giving me the old one, as long as I pay the insurance from now on. Our problem now is that we're unsure if you can unblock a phone. I assume there is some way, otherwise why would people steal phones in the first place? All answers are much appreciated!

Re: Can you unblock an iPhone after network have blocked it?
If a network blocks it remotely, I don't think there's anything you can do.
What you're contemplating is dishonest and fraudulent anyway. If you weren't savvy enough to insure your own iPhone you should be paying for a replacement, not claiming on someone else's insurance. It's people like you who make insurance so expensive for everyone else who bothers to take it out BEFORE their stuff gets stolen.
