Gowns

When and where do first year undergrads buy gowns for formal dinners? and how much do they cost?

When I first started they were selling them on arrival day in the main entrance of college, I'm not sure how it works for other colleges but you'll find out at the time. We were charged £30 for second hand of £55 for new...unfortunately I got there too late for a 2nd hand one but still.
