    Also, stop deluding yourself with statistics, Messi played in the club world cup, whereas Ronaldo didn't. Hence, he's going to have scored more goals.
    That was two extra games, hardly makes a difference.

    I admit he has better stats in the league this year (well, before May, it was similar, then Messi went and scored a load of pointless goals). However, last year, Ronaldo had a better goal per game ratio (overall), so if we're using statistics; Ronaldo was better last year too.
    What an idiotic statement. If you're calling Messi's goals after May "pointless", then a lot of Ronaldo's last year were pointless too. Last season, before the title was decided, Messi was ahead of Ronaldo in the Pichichi. It was only after Madrid had lost the title that Messi hardly started as he was rested for the CL and Madrid went into "let Ronaldo tap it in" mode. You can't say one is pointless and the other isn't when they've both done the exact same thing.

    We all know Sagacious is a Ronaldo fan the guy makes up statistics and when he gets proven wrong he just dismisses the statistics. Your nose is a little brown Sagacious too much squeeky bum time with your chum Ronaldo

    Nice to see people are still replying to my comments, you must have a lot of spare time eh? How I wish... I'll try and make this quick;

    Look, I think Ronaldo is better, you guys think Messi is better. So we disagree? Okay. I've gone past caring. I seriously don't have the time to reply to some fan boys. I'd appreciate it if you could stop replying to me, but feel free to keep the thread going.

    Have a nice day guys.

    Agreed anyone who watches football knows that the best player in the world plays at Barcelona. Shame for ronaldo that he was around because if not Ronaldo would have the Ballon D'or wrapped up but thats just the way it is sometimes you have to play with the best players and most the time you wont get the recognition you would have got had they not been around.

    Just like Falcao, he has been phenomenal this season scoring, 35 goals? Yet no ones barely took interest...

    Falcao has been fantastic also another player not getting props he deserves is Mario Gomez 41 goals in 50 games. Oh i also forgot about Klaas- Jan Huntelaar he has 48goals in 47 games.

    I've been looking for Ronaldo in the euro 2012, but I ain't seen him, I'm pretty sure he got on the plane for the competition but I heard he trains but doesn't turn up for the matches.

    Why would the best player in the world do that?

    Brazil probably have the strongest defence in the world. Silva, Alves, Maicon, Lucio, Luiz, Marcelo...

    Every team is always going to set up to try and stop Ronaldo when playing for Portugal.

    If anything, Portugal should try to set up with Ronaldo making runs and movement to drag other players out of position for players like Nani to hurt them.

    He's never going to be given time or space on the ball, especially when Portugal lack a striker of any real quality.

    Marcelo did... but Rafael Silva, Juan Jesus etc are hardly poor either. Face it hater Messi is leagues above Ronaldo who... managed to do what against Denmark?
