Hi there. I am an 16-year-old doing his GCSE's at School.
So far i am Achieving a B in English and Maths and R.E (But R.E is only worth 1/2 a GCSE) , Im getting a Distinction* in BTEC ICT (Worth 4 GCSE's) and a Pass in BTEC Science (Worth 2 GCSE's). Sadly i am doing Terrible in GCSE Graphics , Geography and History (Getting a C,D,G). I Also have Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English, and a Level 1 FCSE in French worth 1/2 GCSE at a Distinction. I Want to take A-Levels at College but you need at Least 5 A*-Cs at all A-Level colleges.

There's some questions i need answering if you don't mind.
Is that good enough?
Is BTEC Recognised as 1 GCSE OR 2?
Is Level 2 FS in Maths and English worth a GCSE or anything?
Is my FCSE French worth anything?
Will college count RE as 1 GCSE?

Thank you for your time and please help me , i am so worried.

Hello,

To me, it seems like you are panicking... The year before mine did the half a gcse business and you will be able to put it down but it would have to saii "half a gcse"

And for all your other questiions... when I was like you I went to see my school councillor/ college application form filler (all tha same person)... she was great and helped me a lot...

If you have anyone like that, you could talk to, go for it... after all it's your life Good luck x

Your FS in Maths + Eng count for nothing if you have the GCSEs

So
Maths
English
RS (1/2)
French (1/2)

This is 3 ... even if the college only could Btecs at single value you have 5


What do you want to take A levels in
Looking at your successes it might be better looking at a Btec Extended Diploma

I want to take AS/A Level Maths,English,Bussiness and Accounting.
I Think that the FCSE is at a grade D due to it being level one.
