This is his first ever season in top flight football, so there's nowhere near substantial enough evidence to suggest he's good.(Original post by River85)

Compared to Torres of 2007 - 2009, is Holt mediocore, yes, but 2009 was a long time ago. I see no reason why, on current form, which should be the primary judging criteria, Holt isn't better than Torress in putting the ball in the net (other things like creativitiy might be a different matter).(Original post by Newbie123)

This is to everyone that is still immature and is still and still and still taking a bloody piss out of Torres. RVP and Rooney are the only two strikers that are better than Torres. Who else?
I am not talking about goal scoring statistics here, anyone can score, you can just stand in the box and get a lucky pass and score. Torres isnt greedy, he would pass if he sees a chance, his crosses and though balls are amazing.
