These are the grade boundaries for previous papers if anyone's interested. I thought today's paper was fairly similar to what you should expect for a standard paper, and you should expect similar grade boundaries to these. Three 15 markers was a bit odd though.

I must say I found that an awful paper, everytime I wrote something I just felt like I was blabbing and repeating what it said in the pre-release. Really need to get a B in Geography A level, but I think this exam will drag me down
At least it's done now, I suppose that's the only good thing...

Thought I'd prepared quite well for this, and the exam was.... ok. The three 15 markers were quite cruel. I did feel the questions were very, very generic, and open ended. I had some things to say, but I really thought time was tight for this exam, and some of it felt like I had no option but to regurgitate the AIB in some respects. But, there wasn't any stage at which I felt I had nothing to say. Really hoping this was ok, as I felt GEOG3 was very good.

I agree that it seems imbalanced to spend months and months preparing for 60% of the a2, and not very long for 40% of it, and in a very contrived and in my view, poorly thought out exam.

I thought it was a nice paper. The three 15 markers although cruel (I was so shocked to see 3!) the questions themselves weren't too bad and I felt I could write lots for them.

Trouble is most of this exam is how you write it rather than what stuff you can remember so it's very easy for me to think it went well when it actual fact it didn't.

oh well, A level geography all over with! good luck for results day everyone

Was a stacked/compound bar graph alright for question 1?

I interpreted the word graphically to mean visually so I wrote about pie chart. Then I thought what if it wants me to talk about a graph, since I had time I also wrote about a bar graph and just wrote "if you literally mean a graph then a bar graph....."

That's what I done, one of the justifications I made over a pie chart/proportional circle was its simplicity. But tbh they show the same thing..
