How do you think Neymar's career will go?
Will he be another South American talent - e.g. D'Alessandro, Anderson, Denilson, Geovanni - that disappoints, or will he become Brazil's next big star?

He's exceptionally skilled, but his talents aren't easily exportable to the European leagues.... especially the Premiership. He'll probably end up at some big club like Real Madrid, perform well but still below the ridiculous expectations chalked up by the media, then get loaned/transferred to some good-but-not-CL-tier team.

I think I'm just disenfranchised with this latest batch of high-potential South American players that get signed to big clubs and fail to live up to unrealistic expectations. The way to go with youth talent is à la AS Roma this year; they have two young superstars (Lamela & Bojan) who frequently get rotated around positions in different formations against different teams at different points in a game to see where they perform best. All this while learning the game under the tutelage of an Italian footballing legend, Francesco Totti, and an ambitious, young Spanish manager, Luis Enrique. A successful season with contributions from all players would lead to European or CL football; ergo, more games played and more squad members utilized to rest the starting XI.

I would personally like to see Neymar at a team in the Spanish or Italian league that usually finishes somewhere between 6 and 10. Málaga would be a nice idea given their wealthy new investors. Alternatively, Napoli if and only if one of the three tenors leave.

He needs to leave Brazil soon otherwise his career will stall, but that's going to be hard when Santos's demands are completley ridiculous they want £50 Million odd for him.

He is along with Messi the best dribbler in the world and on his day he can be magical he just needs consistency I think Barcelona would be the best move for him they allow flair players to shime the only problem is I don't think they can afford him especially when they have Messi, Pedro, Villa, Sanchez, Telo & Cuenca. I agree with the poster above Real Madrid would be a bad move they have ahabbit of setting players careers back just look at Robben, Sneijder, Van Der Vaart, Benzena etc...

He could easily suceed in any league in the world he has amazing potential to suggest he wouldn't survive in the Premiership people seem to think that the English league is the only physical league in the world.

Oh and he is far better than any of the names you mentioned none of them have even 10% of his talent.

Has the potential to be a world beater.

First goal was a pen, but check out the second two.

Well that's very very very easy to say in hindsight, but Anderson was once seen as Ronaldinho's successor (probably a little due to the fact that he was a Gremio product), D'Alessandro was seen as Argentina's next great number 10, and Betis signed Denilson for a world record fee...

When you look at the attributes they have they are nothing compared to him some of the goals Neymar has scored and created are unbelievable the names you have mention have never scored goals as good as Neymar. Not one of them can dribble like Neymar, not one of them has the pace of Neymar. I have never seen Anderson dribble past players like Neymar or Ronaldinho he just doesn't have the attributes.

Anderson was known as a skillful player before he came to Man U.

I think I need to repeat something... Denilson was signed for a WORLD RECORD fee, straight from Brazil.

Fair enough Anderson looks skillfull there but when you compare that video to Neymar's there is no comparison Neymar is still 10* better. I have never even seen Denilson play to be honest I thought you meant the Arsenal one at first so can't really comment on him
