    Would that not make the 2nd/3rd order definition thing ambiguous?
    This is my line of thought, there are several pathways which bypass different 'auditory nuceli' which make to my mind makes the question poor in that even if they do want the thalamic MGB the fact it would be actively punishing a fuller understanding would be ridiculous.

    Ah, I didn't actually know that, heheh. That makes sense, although I guess such questions about pathways will generally refer to the "textbook" versions. >_<
