I would be really gutted if what the mirror is reporting is correct, and we sell Nani because we aren't willing to increase his wages to the same as the big earners at the club. He's vital in the 4-2-3-1 system, and not to mention a really brilliant winger when on top form. We'll probably get close to £30m if we did but what's to say that money will be invested in new players anyway?

No one is bigger than the club, history tell us that. Nani had an impressive season two years ago when he would have rightly deserved a new deal. Last season due to injuries, he wasn't able to build on that and Valencia's form was irresistable. However, that doesn't justify an increase in wages. I believe, if he has a solid season this year then sure, give an increase. It doesn't surprise me in regards to his comments or vibes coming out as he is with Portugal and when players are away from home, they feel more comfortable to voice their complaints yet when they come back home, it's all "Oh, it was lost in translation" or "Reporters mistook what I said" lol.

It would be the ideal time to pouncce if there was any to sign Modric and Bale with Redknapp gone but can't say us signing both. Maybe Modric but Levy will demand £30m plus especially if the former has a good Euros.

Fixtures out at 9am in the morning, what do you look for first? For me it's always opening game and the dippers away then home, then city away and home, then last day and the christmas and new year fixtures. Aside from that - other than my birthday game cos its on a saturday this year - the rest is just minutiae. Got a feeling we could play dippers or city first this year, its never happened in the premier league! Imagine how excited the league and Sky would be if they could open the entire season with one of those games at 12:45 on the Saturday.

Second question, I know its a couple of months off yet but who do you want in the European Cup draw this year? Personally I'm hoping for Shakhtar Donet'sk (Pot 2), Ajax AFC (Pot 3) and SK Galatasaray (Pot 4). The idea of going to Istanbul and seeing their atmosphere up close has been something that I've wanted to do for years now so that would be a dream tie.

Opening day - away vs. a promoted team possibly? Will obviously look out for Liverpool and City both home and away. Last day - home to Stoke or something like that. Will probably face Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all in the same month or something stupid midway through the season...

Haven't seen the predicted Pots yet but I'd think Dortmund, Juventus and PSG will be ones to look out for.

That'll be the game where you can do your yearly 5-0 thrashing.

Manchester United away all but one of weekends after #UCL matches. To Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Man City. Ouch.

Would love us to play Ajax again. Especially being in Amsterdam for the year. Aren't the Turkish fans still a bit rough when it comes to visiting teams? Could be quite intimidating to go there but it wouldn't be a major problem I imagine.

They're still subject to change, I expect the same as last season, tbh.

Been away for the last week or so. Looking forward to seeing this Powell lad we signed from Crewe. I think he'll get a fair bit of game time. Sink or swim, innit.

Has the Pog officially left? Not that I care that much seeing as how we signed the Kag.

Nope, if you believe twitter we are arguing about compensation with Juve, we want €300k and they will only pay €240k. Don't really believe that though, are they really going to kick up a fuss about giving us an extra €60k when they are giving his dickhead of an agent €2m?
