Re: The Manchester United Thread IXlol.(Original post by doggyfizzel)
Tbh, its not that much of a blow. It would seem a little hollow to lose to City twice and win the title, much like Real last night winning by shutting the door is a far better way to do it.
I see people are losing their ****ing minds already
From Red Devil in London, via text: "Our season has imploded at the wrong time. Our over-paid mercenaries do not have the spirit that "Citeh" do. Get SAF out and Mourinho in this summer."
The guy is a fantastic example of a part-time fan. -
Re: The Manchester United Thread IXThere's always one...probably a WUM, but they seem serious.(Original post by doggyfizzel)

Also, City still have to go to Newcastle and play a resurgent QPR. -
Re: The Manchester United Thread IXWe have to go to Sunderland who aren't exactly an easy win either...(Original post by Budgie)
City still have to go to Newcastle who are in great form and are playing for the Champions League spot. -
Re: The Manchester United Thread IXThey could slip up there, but so could we at sunderland. A lot depends on next monday, if city win that'll surely give them the confidence to go on and win it(Original post by Budgie)

Re: The Manchester United Thread IXMay well do the same. City will win by at least 6 goals today.(Original post by Tommyjw)
Going to watch the Liverpool game instead, may cheer me up a bit -
Re: The Manchester United Thread IX
We have to remember that after the derby City have 2 very tough games whilst we will be playing 2 teams who have nothing to play for. City will be playing at Newcastle who are desperate for a CL spot, and then they have QPR on the final day. With QPR knowing that they will definitely stay up should they get a result at Eastlands. Anything can happen with clubs at the bottom.
Also 99% of the time we bounce back very strongly from disappointing results.
All I can say is, bring on Monday night! -
Re: The Manchester United Thread IXExactly, which is why I really disliked the "advantage City" in the Sky commentary. They don't have advantage. Even if they win today, there's still a three point gap and both teams still have to play each other (at the Etihad, admittedly) and City have a more difficult final two games.(Original post by fudgesundae)

Is the title race going on longer than it appeared it would two weeks ago? Yes, though I think all of use new there would be further "twists". Do City have the advantage? My arse they do.
Very excited, and it's the day of my final university deadline too. After seven years I'll finally be free and get to enjoy the game as a bonusAll I can say is, bring on Monday night!

Re: The Manchester United Thread IXExactly, they are still 3 points behind with only 3 games left. Where do you think any of the city players and staff would rather be?(Original post by River85)
