Hi guys

On my offer letter it says that I will have to have satisfactory Health Checks and Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau screening. Does anyone know when these have to be done by ?

Both should be done by the time you start placement.
The uni will contact you about the CRB.
I'm assuming they will also contact you what to do about the health checks. But basically all you do is just phone up, make an appointment and then go along

I know you need a CRB check when you work with 'vulnerably' people or children. Since it's also a health check, perhaps some of the sports courses require it - that's all I can think of to be honest.

I'm doing a nursing course so occupational health checks and a CRB are required.

mham - You should receive a letter about health checks, have you not received one? What course are you doing?
