testosterone results, what does it mean?
Had a full blood works done because of some symptoms I've been having. I phoned the doctors up and they said it seemed ok.
Anyway, I was wondering if someone could tell me what they mean? I wanted the clinic to email me the complete results but they refused to, and the receptionist only gave me a few results.
Free testosterone 523 tmol/l
Serum 22.2 nmol/l
Anyone knows what they mean? I'm 22 btw. -
Re: testosterone results, what does it mean?middle of the range, basically. Nothing great for a youngish man. When I was 18 I had T levels 1% above the bottom boundary for men of all ages, but the Dr considered that be absolutely fine. You won't get any "help" (not that they can do much).(Original post by Anonymous)
Serum 22.2 nmol/l
What symptoms prompted this test?Last edited by NB_ide; 03-04-2012 at 17:18. -
Re: testosterone results, what does it mean?
serum levels are the relevant one. 10-30nmol/L is normal range. Last check mines was 20.2 and my GP is fine with that. Which is to say your testosterone levels are unlikely to be the cause of your problems, not that I'm a doctor or anything but going on common sense
