Bio-fuel production - stealing from Africans
What do people make of this recent bio-fuels debate? Yet more robbing of Africa, it would seem.

The ActionAid video on the issue is actually pretty funny. Quite Chris Morris like.

Almost nothing the government does helps Poor African nations.

Nations achieve wealth by increasing production, not by handouts or sanctions.

Yes, but is that to say it's ok for our government to be involved in all this land grabbing?

    Brilliant, I would have signed

And don't forget it was the EU that made it a legal obligation to have a certain % of fuel made out of 'renewables'. Another African own goal by the bleedin' heart Euro elites.

Ethanol and Bio-fuels are just another classic example of government promoting things because do gooders want them, a special interest backing the whole thing, and eventually making the whole situation worse.
