Insanity Plea - Poem
Liar. Who are you anyway?
I’ll sit and wait while you stand and stay.
Stay all you want, I won’t move an inch,
Restrain me with your blistering cinch.
Like a corset I breathe in
To let you hold tight,
Feel the grip of this strait-jacket,
Hold me down the whole night.
I’m not human, it’s fine;
I like to be pained,
Mentally restrained,
(And it’s part of the fun)
You know that it’s true,
Liar. Liar. You can lie til you’re blue,
But you’ll still be the same,
And I’ll still take the blame
For your strained meditations
On love filled with hate.
Drum-dum-dum-dumb
We both know it’s true:
I’m a fool for believing,
And a slave to your rules.
So drum that death march
Pound it in to my head,
I’m my own sordid Liar,
Crush me down til I’m dead.
comments/criticism would be lovely
