It wouldn't be that surprising. Hell there have been several dupes that have run for similar lengths of time. Ham and Cheese was one of the more successful ones.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm suggesting, and the funny thing is that it isn't even beyond the pail given your history. I don't think you totally planned everything, you just wanted a dupe in the party for future use. Either way, RoryS has been removed from the party usergroup in the meantime, until this gets explained sometime or other.

I also think you're clever enough to have tried to cover your tracks.

I have done a dupe check - the first results are that it is negative. It is currently being double checked for use of proxies etc.

So by your own ommisson davidmarsh01 you obviously dont give anyone the benefit of the doubt even in your own party? what would JPKC have to gain in doing this? he has already stated that RoryS isnt him so like another MP has stated if JPKC isnt RoryS and it gets proven that he isnt.You will have to apologise to him.

As for this issue i highly doubt that Jpkc has duped by creating Rory and would rather suggest that you made the comments to Rory (a fellow MP) but forgot to tell him to take them out.

As a personal attack, i would expect you to resign if your comments are found to be unfounded, especially since you have made the suspicion of Jpkc public rather than simply stating it was wrong and then contacting Metrobeans via PM.

There I was going to congratulate a first great issue and this happens. I did think the interview was a bit out of shape.

Though I think we should check to see if it's a dupe account (which I doubt it is), shouldn't we wait until he responds first? He might give an explanation and we could save some moderator time and all.

Besides that, I trust david didn't make any comments of the sort, but is it possible to publish/send to an impartial recipient(s) the PM in question (I presume you interviewed via PMs) to ensure that the allegations are true. Like I said though, I trust you on the matter.

I hope the matter is resolved quickly.

Well as I've said above, I trust Dave and the comments were out of line with his personality - such as you get on here. Regardless, sexism shouldn't be tolerated and should have been subject to editorial scrutiny. Perhaps RoryS is a dupe, perhaps he is not. The fact remains, however, that the article appears as a character assassination on dave and that is hardly very professional. Given the clear animosity between the two of you, I can understand why he's jumped to the conclusion that he has. However, I would stop gloating.
