Re: MHoC NewspaperIf I must(Original post by RoryS)
Can we also get a volunteer to go first for an interview?
-
Re: MHoC NewspaperI'll do an interview if you want, its not as 'high profile' as going for a party leader but i'm up for it if you want me.(Original post by RoryS)
Thanks for all you're ideas guys.
In terms of managing this, Birchington is the Editor of the MHoC Newspaper and I'm now Deputy Editor mainly taking on the role of managing the content for the publication. Birchington will focus on the designing of the newspaper.
What we now need from you is content submissions and ideas for the name of the newspaper.
I also intend to PM Party leaders asking them for content.
Can we also get a volunteer to go first for an interview? I'm not sure how we're going to structure it yet. -

Re: MHoC NewspaperI think I'll do that actually. Do we think one interview is enough per issue? If we do more than 1 then we'll run out of people to interview!(Original post by TopHat)
Actually, given the Member of the Term will be done soon, why not make them your first interview? -
Re: MHoC NewspaperIf you are doing it monthly then you have to do more than one person per issue, perhaps first issue should be the member of the term plus leaders of each party?(Original post by RoryS)

Re: MHoC Newspaper
I reckon 1 is more than enough. Don't want this to be too padded, because ideally this will be going in the News and Current Affairs section where potential newbies can see it. It needs to be approachable. However, I reckon fortnightly would be better than monthly. Gotta keep things fresh.

Re: MHoC NewspaperHow about a section where a minister/shadow minister comments on a policy the corresponding RL party, or any RL party is pursuing and how they would do things differently, or if they agree with it.(Original post by RoryS)

and for a title, its a bit crappy but how about "The Politics Paper" -
Re: MHoC NewspaperI always like the "Hansoff" as a name for a HoC newspaper, myself. Would reflect the hands off attitude that party leaders should take to it.(Original post by Moleman1996)

How about 'Model T'?
(Model T(imes) [for a Model Commons]? It doesn't really work, does it...

We will do the PM & Leader of the Opposition in this issue then work our way through the Party Leaders & MPs. -
Re: MHoC NewspaperHad an idea for how you could interview. Set up a TSR MHoC tiny chat account, and then just let the interviewee sign in as a guest, you'd only have to give them a time that way. Would be quicker than a stream of PMs(Original post by RoryS)

Re: MHoC NewspaperThat's a good idea. I was wondering how else I could do it apart from TSR PMs! I'll mention this to our Editor.(Original post by Moleman1996)

This looks like a great name! As far as I know, we're yet to choose one. We hope to announce it shortly(Original post by MacCuishy)
