Right, so...'atheist' is now shorthand for 'person who is ignorant about religion'?
Religious people are as likely to score badly on this test as atheists are.
The test says that atheists are on average more knowledgeable than theists with regards to religion and is simply asks people to see if they can get a higher score. -

The test compares you more to an American than an atheist, I haven't started American studies yet and frankly I don't give a c*** if they're allowed to teach the bible as literature of not over there beyond that fact that its a pretty bad example if they do (then again, Gatsby anyone?). And who the hell is Joseph Smith? (sounds like some crackpot cult leader masquerading as a prophet or something) I learnt about Romero, Maximillian Kolbe, MLKjnr in my RS class! I still got 25 though and I'm an English atheist with very little memory of what I learned to get an A in RS at GCSE over 2 years ago.
