Hi there
I want to apply for an accommodation at Hertfordshire but I was wondering if I have to pay for electricity, gas, water bill, council tax and internet ?
The prices are already high as they are!
Enjoy it whilst it lasts, as many showers as you want, keeping your lights on day and night XD haha Once you move into private accommodation in your second and third year you'll have to pay for it all

Re: Accommodation at Hertfordshire, help pleaseIf you stay in halls and have access to one, try bring an ethernet cable for the internet. We were given one on our first day but some people missed it and i'm not 100% if they'll do it again. Everyone will want them when they get here so if you do have one, bring it

Re: Accommodation at Hertfordshire, help pleaseYeah I agree, it might be useful to bring a longer cable anyway 'cause the cable you get from uni is literally just 1 m/3 feet so most people could probably do with something longer so you can stay in bed with your laptop ^^(Original post by sweety0471)
