    I love you fruitloops
    Hello Celtic Anthony,

    I love you too sweetypie

I did not write the Bible. I believe it is true. However, I do not believe in being mean or rude to people, and I believe homosexuals are loved by God and God is their Judge, not me or any other human. However, I do believe that humans are inclined to sin, which includes heterosexual fornication, and other homosexual fornication. There are people who believe this as well, including ex-gay people who formed Exodus International. If there are people who believe that the Bible is true and who are wrestling with homosexual inclinations, it is their right to seek help. It is also the right of any person to be a homosexual and live their life how they see fit.

Christians are not supposed to hate or mock anybody, but rather love, do good to, pray for, forgive, bless those who curse them, and help those in need. Jesus' teachings accounted in the Bible make that very clear.

    Peace and God bless you

It seems unlikely that a Catholic clergyman would be involved in deviant sexual behaviour like this. It wouldn't surprise me if this was an act of sabotage to, once again, make the Catholic Church look bad. Look how the secular media, led by the BBC, has run with this story. If this was a humanist leader, we'd have heard nothing of it. Pathetic.
Conspiracy much? Obviously the guy can't have encounters with women, he's always in presence of other priest, hence not surprising that he happens to be gay.

    Hello Marcusfox,

I agree. Many people, regardless of belief in God, struggle with homosexuality and porn, not just some priests.

This priest needs help. Homosexuality is not encouraged or condoned by God. There is a group called Exodus International. Ex-gay people created this group as a support group to help people who believe in God and who believe the Scriptures are true, and who want to be rescued from homosexual inclinations. By God's grace, many people have been rescued from homosexuality and from addiction to porn too.

    Here is the website:

    http://exodusinternational.org/

I hope this priest "retires" from priesthood and fervently seeks God for rescue from homosexuality and porn.

    Peace and God bless

Celibacy is unnatural. All the messengers of God had wives. Why does the Catholic Church insist on this conduct when it causes all these perverted acts to arise?

Downloading gay porn is now a 'perverted act' is it?

    Hello Dwayne Hicks,

Do you wish everyone to leave this site who has a different belief than you? Is that tolerant?

I am not saying that homosexuals are bad people or deserve hell or anything like that. Why? Because I believe there are homosexuals who are good people (same as there are heterosexuals who are good people) and no they don't deserve hell. So, why are you accusing me of being intolerant for writing about Exodus International? Do you think Exodus International is intolerant? If so, why?

If a person no longer wants to experience homosexual thoughts, what is wrong or intolerant if they no longer want to?

Now, I would understand if you think the Bible is intolerant or bigoted, because there are verses that are intolerant and bigoted, about many things.

However, I do not believe you are being tolerant of me by wanting me to leave this site. I personally have no problem if you stay on this site, nor do I mean any ill will to you. I love you because Jesus loves me and you and everyone!

    Peace and God bless you

    Hello Handsome,

    No he didn't.

However, Jesus did quote the Scriptures, which in his day was the Tanakh.

However that is a very important point... Jesus did not command his followers to persecute, insult, mock, hurt, kill, or treat anyone badly, whether homosexual or heterexual or asexual. It doesn't matter to Jesus.

    Peace and God bless you

I was actually thinking of all the paedophilia cases. However, showing children gay porn is still perverted and unacceptable, yes.

Lol how did 16 images manage to play before this was stopped? Even at a minimum time of 4-5 seconds per image that's almost a minute to a minute and half of playing time. Wtf were they doing until then

Please tell us what "crime" he has committed.

He obviously downloaded gay porn, but clearly didn't mean to project it in front of children - so what? It was an accident. (OK he very foolishly put the wrong memory stick in or something but watching gay porn does not make you a criminal).
unfortunately your a criminal in the eyes of God according to the church...

Sad how they preach equality but are so biased within even their own ranks isn't it...

Because you are presenting a false image of Christianity. Your making Christians who really care about people other than themselves a bad name.

Considering that homosexuality is a sin shouldn't the priest be kicked out of the church? Accidents happen but he's just proved himself a hypocrite. Let the priests marry and move this permanently outdated religion into the 21st century.

Are you taking the piss? This is absolute nonsense - it's 2012 not 1950.
Yes, I know it's 2012, but I'm saying my family are very "hush hush" when it comes to members of the clergy. It may not be 1950 but there is still discrimination throughout the catholic churches teachings: sexism, homophobia... If I were to mention this (which I do) I know that my Granny and Grandad would hate for me to criticise even an evil priest because they still think they are godly or have some divine power.

The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Your implication that homosexuality is a dangerous situation goes against what you should know.

There is nothing in Christianity that says priests have to be celibate. It's idiotic Catholics who have introduced that. I am a Christian as well and I am not intending to stay celibate. What Catholics are doing (mass corruption, immorality, greed) is giving a bad name to Christianity as a whole.

Jesus never advocated for any of the nonsense Catholics do.

People of other religions are equally not allowed to do similar things.

Being homosexual is not something to be "rescued" from. People naturally feel attraction for one another, whether they are the same sex or not. To have priests who are in such a position of trust, deprive themselves of all sexual relations is akin to a timebomb. I'm not trying to have a go at priests, most of whom help their community greatly, but given human nature is what it is, celibacy seems very irresponsible - they should be encouraged to have safe relationships openly, instead of making it a taboo and forcing priests to turn to porn or worse when their desires get the better of them.

For anybody who wants a laugh, read up on this Exodus International that she's talking about. Turns out two of the supposed ex-gay founders have divorced their wives and "married" each other (As closely as laws would allow them to), and a thrice-elected chairman was ejected from the company after being found trying to attract men in a gay bar. On a more serious side, numerous members of the upper organisation of EI have issued public apologies and spoken out against its practices, and follow up studies indicate extremely low success rates. In short, the whole thing's a laughing stock.
