Re: Facial hair! :(
Get it threaded. There are places that will thread it off in about 2 minutes for £2! If you can't find these places the Debenhams and Superdrug beauty will do it. It's the best thing. Literally every asian girl threads their facial hair (eyebrows, upper lip, whole face) because it's darker and more noticeable. I'm surprised you didn't know that!!! Buy some thread yourself and learn too.
NEVER EVER EVER EVER SHAVE IT OFF!!!!!!!!!! -
Re: Facial hair! :(
What I am currently doing is getting my full facial hair lasered, I'm asian and I don't like excess hair on my face (including the thin hairs). It costs £100 per treatment and you need 6 treatments. £40 for the initial patch test and then a week later you get your first treatment. This is for my full face excluding my eyebrows (chin, sideburns, neck etc) I thoroughly recommend this to anyone, I've had hair problems all my life as my skin is pale and hair is dark.
What I used to do is wax, thread every 18 days, and trust me it was such a hassle. I wouldn't feel comfortable if I wasn't hair free and now it's so much more simpler. However with laser, you are not allowed to remove the hair by waxing/threading or any other method that actually pulls out the hairs, so you have to shave. Which is not the best feeling, especially if you're a woman; it defeminises you. However I have to say it's life changing. Also pricewise it's really good even though I had a really good relationship with my beautician (used to just pop by to her house) she'd give huge discounts. If I worked out yearly, I'd spend the same amount as the 6 treatments, if not more.

Anyways, hair lightening creams are the best! No pain, no hassle, just rub some cream for 20 mins and voila! No one can see anything

Or if you have darker skin. I'm quite sure a black woman bleaching her facial hair white would look quite... peculiar.Last edited by Discouraged One; 19-04-2012 at 19:32.
!!! Thread it or wax it. Or use removal cream if you can. I stick with threading
