Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball?
It's sexism. Even though we have a men's team its sexism.

Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball?
Because the physical capabilities between men and women would make it unfair. The same reason men and women don't compete together in rugby, football, boxing, running etc.
There's no reason why men and woman cannot coach each other techniques and skills though. -

Women seem perfectly happy to advocate playing in mens leagues in other sports. Why not beach volleyball?
Edit: And isn't it sexist to say that there is a difference in physical capabilities between men and women? I know women who are more physically capable than their male counterparts and vice versa.Last edited by mirin?; 04-04-2012 at 20:27. -
Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball?Yeah they advocate it, but they still aren't allowed to compete with men for obvious reasons. So if people want to advocate men playing in womans volleyball then fine. But it's not going to happen. However I don't see any problem with women coaching men and vice versa. Neither do I see any problem with women competing with guys in non physical ability sports or sports where physical ability doesn't stop men and women competing, such as formula 1, golf, bowls etc.(Original post by mirin?)

And no it's not sexist to say men are physically stronger than woman because it's a fact. Yes you have a point there are certain men stronger than others. But you base it on the average and the average man is stronger and more physcally capable that the average woman. Not sexist, just biology.Last edited by Foghorn Leghorn; 04-04-2012 at 20:54. -
Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball?I don't give a damn if they compete in sports such a f1 , golf, bowls against guys.(Original post by Foghorn Leghorn)

But they can leave football and rugby alone. For that i will not tolerate. It is a man's cultural pillar. -
Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball? You sir, are an idiot for thinking Formula One is a 'non physical ability sport.(Original post by Foghorn Leghorn)

Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball? You know fine well what I mean. The physical differences between men and women do not hinder them competing together in motor sport. I never meant it wasn't a physical sport.(Original post by thatcargeek.)

Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball?Er, no. The wording you used implied you thought that motorracing is a non physical sport.(Original post by Foghorn Leghorn)

Er, no. The wording you used implied you thought that motorracing is a non physical sport.
The words I said were "non physical ability sport". Perhaps my wording wasn't clear and i have edited it. But any reasonable person would understand what I meant by it. You're just being provocative for provocative sake. -
Re: Why can't men participate in women's beach volleyball? No. I am not being provocative for provocative sake; a friend linked me to your comment and said 'Want a fail, good sir?'. So your poor wording gave off the wrong conntations to at least two members of this forum.(Original post by Foghorn Leghorn)
