    WTF?!
    1) How did anyone even find out you slapped one of your children.
    2) I thought you were allowed to slap a child lightly?
I have been told you are allowed to hit a child, as long as it does not leave a mark. This was by a tutor at college, though most responsible parents find ways of discipling children without violence.

I have worked so hard this year to get my level 2 in maths and English and I have a busy home life with my 7 children.

I have applied to do an Access To Law course in September, but I have a little bit of a past. I had a bad experience a few years ago in which I stabbed. This led to other things i.e I received two cautions for drug and a driving ban, I also got a caution for assault on a minor. This was an incident in which I am not proud, I lost my temper with one of my children and slapped him.

I am wondering if it is worth doing even though I really want it. I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:

I feel bad enough about what i did so please do not judge me too harshly.
I hope you succeed in a law career. Too many lawyers and judges have never commited a crime before, that's terrible. I think more of them should commit crimes to see what it's like to stop being so out of touch with real life.

    That's what I thought too.
I think you should only slap your child if nothing else works, you can't have your kid b*tching you around lol.

I got an unconditional offer for the Law course and will work hard to succeed in this. I may not be able to become a barrister but, I will make a living for my-self and my children.

I can't believe one of them is for slapping your child!

I'd give my kid a jolly good smack if he was acting out. (The other half can sort out the girls).
