Woah why are we judging these body types as if they're two different species?! I know skinny girls who try to put on weight and can't because that's just how they are, and I know curvy girls who have trouble losing weight! I think the most attractive type of girl is one who is happy in her own skin
True words if ever they were said.

It means you're a feckless retard who should have paid more attention in school.
actually dck im a straight A*/A student, so just because i typed like that doesn't mean i'm dumb

and why are you guys pointing out body shapes favoritism-- you should know that personality counts foremost

all you people are doing is pressuring other people to suit your wants of body shape

True. This has become a shallow post. Body shapes aren't something we should have as a preference. No wonder we have bad rep.

Both , as long as they are fit and healthy I have no problem.
Everyone goes on about " real women " nowadays but some girls are naturally thin , and wouldn't necessarily suit having a " curvy body "

I think curvy girls rule and it was this picture that inspired this thread

I mean don't get me wrong, not many women come close to being as lovely looking as marilyn monroe. She was a fine specimen of a woman but i mean we are forced in one way or another to see these size zero models everyday of our life's and i think its the wrong way to shape the society we live, pushing this in our faces all the time.

I agree with the picture "**** society" and what we are told we should look like.

Just before this continues any further, I agree, but to pre-empt blaming it on guys, it's a shame girls seem to be more obsessed about their image than guys.

Y'all should stop doing that to yourselves, stop hatin' on each other and sticking knives in everyone's back and just, be mates.

Does it really matter whether girls are skinny or curvy? As long as they are confident with their own bodies then that's all that matters! Girls are so self conscious these days (including me :blushing:) that it would be nice for someone just to say, hey, actually, it doesn't matter what size or shape you are. There are more important things in life than body image and as long as you are happy with your body then everyone else should be too.

So, instead of telling girls to look skinny, you're telling them to magically grow big boobs and curves?! Wow that's so much more realistic and fair! Not everyone is curvy naturally, and not everyone who is skinny is starving themselves. Get a grip people.

There are girls out there who won't look at a guy if he isn't a certain height or build, then moan about not being accepted for being curvy/skinny or whatever. Seriously? So many hypocrites about. Everyone has their preferences at the end of the day, you can't force somebody to like something because you think it's right.

I'm sorry but I'm sick of hypocrites. Somebody said that being curvy is being skinny with curves. Are you being serious?! I'm a dancer, and none of us all look the same. Having good stamina, muscular and aerobic endurance are signs of being healthy. As a dancers we are used to full day rehearsals and work our stamina and muscular endurance every week, and believe it or not the ones with low body fat percentages perform to the same standard as those with higher body fat percentages. Y'know why? Because everyone has different genetics and therefore their bodies have different ideas of healthy. Just because a girl is skinny doesn't mean she's healthy and in shape, and just because a girl is curvy doesn't mean she's fat.

It is rare to find beautiful women these days, half the time they use tan and plastic sugergy and they may look pretty, but then become bloated. This is not how it should be. Beautiful women are the ones who are healthy and well mannered. The Romans had some of the finest women in their empire, and that's a fact.
