I laughed at one comment on the "black underachieving" thread, something along the lines of black parents not having a tendency of highlighting the necessity of an education, which results in poor results.
Have they not met African parents? (I know, generalised statement)
Oh my word. I got below an A, a couple of times, and I've never lived it down. The highlight is on education. I hear it everyday, Eh,you best pray to God that you'll get all A's in these A levels, girl. D:
