    Hedda Gabler (Henrik Ibsen)
    Hi guys,

For my AQA Lit/Lang B Unit 4 text transformation I have tried to change an extract from Hedda Gabler into a dramatic monologue, with the purpose of conveying her insanity.

I'm currently stuck on how to convey her insanity. I've done some subtle things such as repetition of key couplets that shows Hedda's inability to track her speech, and have tried her hallucinating and imagining her father's portrait speaking to her, though my teacher did not understand how this was hallucinating. Does anyone have any ideas that I could use as to how I could convey Hedda's insanity through language?

    Thanks!

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more...

I have a few questions. How much of the story are you converting, all of it or just a section, and if so which section?

What time period is your piece set in?

I read this play for fun a few years ago and loved it, so quote me/PM me if you want extra help.
