35 in IB is equivalent to 2A*s and 1A at A2 if I remember correctly.

Nope it's 6As in UCAS points. But Surrey were giving offers of AAA for my same course.

Oh, on the UCAS website it says its more.

35 is 501 points and a A is 120 points.

Which is slightly more than 4As and 1E right?

Yeah you're right there, I guess I must be looking at an older grading or something.

UCAS are the ones who make the rules (somewhat), so I'd go with what they say .

I've firmed for Dietetics too now!

What are you doing about moving and finding a place to live. I'm going to find a studio, or I wouldn't mind sharing with one other person. I have a cat too so I'm going to have to find somewhere that'll take him!

I actually have a question about the tuition fees, maybe you could help me out? I'm just wondering what Surrey's policy is for people paying their own fees? I couldn't get a loan for my 1st year so yeah, wooptidoo. Anyway, do you know anything about that? Particularly when the payment's actually due. I read december somewhere but I'm not sure....

I've not got any experience with this at all sorry, I paid mine through the standard student loan.

This page from the University website may be of use to you:

Some students may decide not to take the Government loan for fees and wish to pay the £9000 fee from their own resources or other source of funding.

Direct payment of fees to the University will be straightforward for those who decide to follow this route and will be invoiced in the relevant year of study.
I've firmed for Psychology  cant wait!

Of course, always worth asking! If the information isn't on the page I linked to, then there's no harm in emailing the finance department and asking them for a rundown of how to pay the fees, I'm sure they'll be happy to help!
