Re: How do I become a man?Sounds like you're just back tracking to me.(Original post by Manitude)
The implication and expected inference were different. Thus in my eyes it was a hint. The fact that you have not inferred it the way I expected isn't a problem.
I'm not unfamiliar with grammar, for a scientist I'm competent enough.
Obviously you need to grow a pair and admit when you're wrong. -
Re: How do I become a man?Oh right, that makes a lot of sense now.(Original post by Manitude)
I know that, I was 'testing' the OP if you will.
"Women" is already a plural, so doesn't need the additional s for pluralisation, so when it becomes possessive it doesn't become s's, which is commonly replaced by s'.
Testing someone who has already avoided the error that you were supposedly testing for. Cool, that adds up. -
Re: How do I become a man? It's a bit late to call Skitt's Law on my post really.(Original post by Newbie123)
Ok, whatever helps you sleep at night.
But if you're going to try and make a smart-aleck comment - like I did earlier - at least make sure what you're saying is correct. -

It's a bit late to call Skitt's Law on my post really.
Please ignore the "I found his son" parts. -

Re: How do I become a man? Many people are blissfully unaware of correct apostrophe usage, I was working on the possibility that you had attempted to correct in ignorance and by fluke had got it right.(Original post by Newbie123)

Re: How do I become a man?The massive one on your forehead compensates for that.(Original post by Newbie123)
Dw, I'm just overcompensating for my tiny penis. -
Re: How do I become a man?Are you sure that shouldn't be Skitts' law?(Original post by Manitude)
It's a bit late to call Skitt's Law on my post really.

Many people are blissfully unaware of correct apostrophe usage, I was working on the possibility that you had attempted to correct in ignorance and by fluke had got it right.
Once again, please ignore the "I found his son" parts. -
Re: How do I become a man?Trust me, I've had much worse. I'm being hounded by people I don't know, or will ever likely know on an internet forum regarding something I don't really care about. On the scale of embarrassment this is not particularly high. It's quite amusing to see how seriously some people are taking it though.(Original post by amyshamblesxx)
Oh god, I feel embarrassed for you. -
Re: How do I become a man?Basically, J.D. says "you were wrong" in a really annoying, smug voice.(Original post by Manitude)
I have no speakers. Find some subtitles and I'll happily watch it. -
Re: How do I become a man?Ok, next time you see one of your heterosexual male friends - preferrably one with a girlfriend, kiss him and see if he kisses you back, then afterwards, you can just say that you were testing him to see if he was a latent homosexual who had just ended up with a GF "by fluke".(Original post by Manitude)

That makes perfect sense, using your logic. -
Re: How do I become a man?...I bet you feel very smug about now, don't you?(Original post by Newbie123)
Basically, J.D. says "you were wrong" in a really annoying, smug voice.
Bask in that smugness for now, but know that all good things must end eventually. -
Re: How do I become a man?>Implying I don't do that already.(Original post by Newbie123)
