    hey guys,
    just wondering is there a way to recover documents deleted from an external hard-drive, accidentally deleted some coursework i needed.

    Just search for file recovery software, there are some around and you might get lucky - they can work but it is very hit and miss at times.

    Try Recuva, I have used it a couple of times before. You should be able to recover your files providing they have not been written over.

    File Recovery software should help you, although it depends how long ago you deleted it and how active your harddrive has been since it was deleted.
