Any exam question beginning with "Suggest...
The subject isn't hard, so they made the examination process hard.

The content + mark scheme make it an overall hard subject (like most sciences).
More learning based, where as you compar with maths, physics and sometimes chem, yiu can apply the knowledge. But this is mostly wordy and learn and recall bases. Which is why you tend to find more experimental details in Biology, becuase they have to use something other than learning stuff in the curiculum.
