Summer shoes (male)
Hey, the only shoes I currently own that fit are two pairs of river island high tops and so want to get a new pair of shoes which go with shorts/chinos/slim jeans. All ideas would be welcomed, first thing which came to mind would be Vans but everyone is getting Vans at the moment so was wondering if anyone had any other ideas besides them
? thanksss!

They go with pretty much everything, especially if you scuff them up a bit

I usually roll with low white converse.

is there a way to make them look good even on medium sized feet ?, perhaps only lacing up a few of the loops -
Re: Summer shoes (male)I have size 9 feet, mine look awesome. Tucking the laces away always helps.(Original post by cgvince)

You could always get Crocs, everyone loves those

Re: Summer shoes (male)
For true summer shoes, boat shoes/deck shoes or loafers (tasseled or fringed).
For a summery take on year-round shoes, try going for suede instead of leather (suede broques, derbies or desert boots). Beige, blue or (if you're brave) something brighter (I've seen suede shoes in yellows, greens and oranges in quite a few places this year).
Double monkstraps seem to be getting popular too.
Considering you currently wear high-tops, the most appropriate shoe is probably either the boat shoe or a suede desert boot. I'm assuming you dress very casual/laid back? The loafers and double monkstraps likely aren't appropriate to your existing style (I'm making an assumption here, but I really can't see how either shoe would work in place of high-tops, they're both for a much more refined, smart/casual look).
? thanksss!
