Ah, vale. Habitacion compartida. :P

    Re: Ayone from Spain here?
    Hi everyone, Spanish people!!

I am Italian and I am going to start my Master in UK in September.
I am trying to speak with some EU nationals in order to understand more about the validity of a UK Msc in the other EU countries.

I've read that if you have a UK degree, you can work in another EU country ONLY if those two countries have a bilateral agreement for the equivalence of the degree; if that's not the case you should go through a burocratic path (which will probably imply some more subjects at the University, or something similar).

Since you're going to have your graduation in UK and you're from Spain, could you please tell me more about the situation in your country? do you have any precise information?
It would be very usefull to know it, since the labour market is now globalized and could also happen to find work in another EU country (then you should know if this would prevent you to work in that country).

I hope you can give me more information about this issue.
    Thanks in advance,

    Renzo

I don't think she will find any type of job in Spain. Haven't you watched the news? Spain is screwed.

Dear Chronist, I know the situation, I'm Italian and we're going to follow you veeeery soon!!
I'm just trying to probe the situation of the equivalence of a UK degree overall Europe...I mean, supposing there were a lot of working placements (dreaming...), could a Uk graduate come to work in Spain without any bureaucratic issue?

PS: the situation is really screwed up! I know a lot of graduates who are still waiting and probably will be for another one-two years...

Esa compañera no parece tener mucha idea xD

EL IELTS es imprescindible para entrar a la universidad en UK y seguramente para casi cualquier cosa que quieras hacer allí.

Well, now the presentation. I'm also from Spain and I'll be attending an English University next year. I don't know which one yet. My three options right now are Southamton, Nottingham and Kent.
I'll be studing French and German.

Yeap, the situation could barely be worse, most of the people with degrees are now learning languages to find a job abroad.

Are you gonna do you whole degree in the UK or are you just going on erasmus? Two friends of mine are on erasmus in Kent and Nottingham at the moment!

I'm gonna do the whole degree

By the way, what do your friends tell you about those places? I'm currently trying to decide between Nottingham and Kent but I lack the information to do so xD
