Bsc accounting in MBS and BA A&F(Economics and Social Studies)
I can't find the course structure on the their web. I want to know the detials of the compulsory and optional courses in each yr.

Does anyone know BA A&F (Economics and Social Studies)? I wonder whether I will learn some course in MBS. I found that this subject is not in MBS just recently and feel hopeless! I want to study in MBS honestly. I want to know more about these two subjects pls and consider to change a subject if necessary.

By the way, I wonder whether the alumni network of manchester is for all alumni and is there a special network for
    MBS alumni?

    Thanks a lot!

Yes there is an Alumni network . Once you start MBS you automatically get mails for MBS Alumni as well

Don't know if BA A&F is taught at MBS but if you really wanna do an MBS course maybe IBFE is something you'd enjoy.

If i'm not wrong, those courses are though by both the school of social sciences and MBS. this means some of your classes will be in MBS.

Yes - First year undergraduate. Never had anything to do with the school of social science but I think compared to other schools MBS is a little more seperated from the Uni. That's what I think at least.

If you mean this course http://www.mbs.ac.uk/programmes/unde...nting-finance/ that's a course at MBS. But you were talking about the BA weren't you? Not sure what the difference between a BA A&F and a BSc Management with A&F specialism would be tbh. The easiest way to find it is to email MBS/School of Social Science probably
separated?do u mean the teaching qualities, alumni network or other aspects? How should I choose between mbs and social sciences school? Thanks a lot! In mbs, I may be more likely to choose BSc Accounting, coz I'm not that into management

People say they go to MBS not to the University of Manchester, we have our own hoddies, our own society fair etc.

Imo it would be stupid to just look at the differences between MBS and the School of Social Sciences. What use is that to you??? Look at the different course outlines! So what do you think Mngt is gonna be about?

Actually, it's Bsc Accounting in MBS. I'm not that into course involving management.

I've compared both structures and found little differences between them for their similar teaching aims and purposes-training an accountant. What I want to know is not only the difference in course outlines but also the differences in teaching methods&qualities, reputation, employability, facilities, etc. These are well gained from current/graduation students rather than uni's officers. I'd like to know the true feeling from u all.
