another quick question guys , for question 4 as it is 16 marks would 4 paragraphs (all comparative) be sufficient enough? Secondly if i were to write 4 paragraphs what type of things could i mention , i want examples of topics to talk about in my paragraphs e.g. sentences, imagery ect. ??

Hi!

I have this exam and i'm dreading it. In the mock i got a B with no revision so hopefully i will get an A or A* in the exam.

Does anyone have any tips for revising? There are 3 past papers so i think i should just learn how to answer questions from looking at the mark schemes.

From school i brought a book called "AQA Gcse English and English language revision workbook higher" by Esther Menon and Peter Buckroyd.

I have been trying to find the mark sceme for it online as in the book it says "You can find answers to the activities online" except i cant find them! Does anyone have a link? I really need it!

Go to the link, but the PDFs never load so just copy the codes from the URL (The end bit where it says AQA- etc) and paste it into google, you'll find it there Hope that helps :P

Urgh , hate this exam I have to retake it even though I got an A in January ( stupid school). It's too long 2hrs and 15mins I felt like shooting myself half way through..

You should see all the different options -drop-down menus
Click on past papers and markschemes

Theres no other papers on the aqa website other than 2011, so i dont think so

I think you can start writing. Im probably gonna skim the first extract start the question, and skim the rest when i come to do the other questions. Timing is crucial in this exam....every second counts.....

i hate questions 3 and 4!!! any help on how to answer them especially 3 cos its about thoughts and feelings which are kinda like the same thing so its quite confusing
