I was gutted. Learnt all about the sporozoites and merozoites and ookinete and everything - and turns out we don't need to know that

we still havent finnished the syllabus and we have two different teachers teaching us two different modules we still have part of the last module and part of the food and health module left
most of the things we were told to go over ourselves

you also need to know some definations.. which all seem similar to me.. so having a hard time learning.

You don't need those definitions...

As per the spec all you need to be able to define is:

species
habitat
biodiversity

Thats all.

Have you guys checked out Lexafish's revision notes? They are really worth looking at. The notes go with the specification and might be useful.

Arrgh, just going to finish off cardiac cycle today then F211 is done! F212 going to try and finish off by sunday or monday, going to start backwards ecology>health>biological molecules, I think for the ecology part, bit of reading and watching of NatGeo Wild will be required LOL

i hate bio diversity in general...... i was actually enjoying this unit untill we started it....

I'm definitely not complaining but I just found it quite interesting how chemistry grade boundary for an A is around 80s ouf of 100 for unit 2 (for jan 2012 anyway) and biology isn't.. do you think this is because biology is harder than chemistry?

I've noticed this too, to be fair I find chemistry a lot easier to do, aren't the boundaries usually modified to how well students do? Maybe students just don't do that well on bio and do better at chem which accounts for the difference perhaps?

Enzymes - inhibition big marker perhaps?
Conservation
Usual sampling along with Simpsons diversity index
Smoking or diet?
I don't think they'll be much immune system
Biological molecules test
Biological molecules probably will focus on one of them only I reckon Carbohydrates
Medicine? - how science works I've never read this page in the book and its never really come up but always a chance
Thats all I can think of

mee too! enzymes will defintley come up, evolution wont i dont think. a lot on biological molecules, smoking aswell....
