    Apart from the development of insecticide resistance suggest one other reaso why people are concerned about using insecticides?

    Another question:

    suggest how the effects of insecticide use on a population of Anopheles mosquitoes should be measured and state steps that could be taken to produce vaild and reliable results? [5 marks]

    Because, no one knows the long term effects of chemical ingestion.

    Ok. Calm down. Transcription is everything before the mRNA is taken out of the nucleus. Then Translation occurs. RNA Polymerase is just in place of DNA Polymerase, it does the exact same thing, building a complementary strand.
    I think i've forgotten a phase or something,
    The best thing for me is to crack out my notes and stop doing past papers for now.

    how much detail is needed for translation? i.e the copying of dna into small mrna?

    Anyone got a way of remembering the classification rank things kingdom phylum class? Forgotten the rhymes that people said the first time I did this two years ago.

    As for translation learn the page on it that's really all that's needed for AS at A2 it goes into it a bit more
