reliability - repeat experiment 3 times at least, identify and remove anomalous data values, calculate an average (the mean).

accuracy - ensure variables are kept constant... ?

precision - more accurate equipment - small increments on equipment...?
What are the answers??
just wondering how you all did on your practicals?

yep correct!

accuracy - ensure variables are kept constant... ?

use more intermediate values, narrow the range,

precision - more accurate equipment - small increments on equipment...?
What are the answers??

what did you all get in the practicals?
Reply 72
Might be a bit late :s-smilie: , but what I have found really helpful is looking at the mark schemes to past papers (on the ocr website) and trying to get used to the terminology they use - they can get a bit pedantic!

has anyone else left revision till tomorrow, saturday and sunday?

I've gone over everything again for this exam and done a few past papers.
I hope I can do better than my D in January
I just hope spirometers don't come up because no matter how hard I try I can never remember how it works hehe.

They won't be out until the summer but they're usually around:
A - 34
B - 31
C - 28
D - 25
E - 22/23

From looking at past years

Agree! And it's not too late. OCR is very specific in the mark scheme.

Ohh the joy of having to do this paper after it was more than a year I was taught the content!
