    Sailing
    Hey,

I'm looking for something new to try in my gap year next year and sailing looks pretty fun!

Saying that, I know nothing about sailing or other water sports so I was wondering if anyone on here could enlighten me?

    Thanks!

Do it, it's a fun sport. Get your RYA Level 1 and 2 Licences and practice in a laser and take it from there. It's a pretty cool outdoorsy sport that requires a bit of everything: skill, strategy and stamina. You'll love it, apart from getting soaked, when you capsize. lol

Yeah, mainly lasers and 420s. Haven't done much recently, but, I wanna step up my game and try a faster 2 man dinghy like a 49er, when I move to the coast in about 4 months.
