    First Holiday Abroad
Me and the girls are going on holiday this summer. I've never been abroad before. It's for a week and we're going to Malia
What do I need to pack?
    Any other advice?
    Thanks

Depends on where you're staying and whether you plan on spending time at the pool or beach.

If you're a beach person take towels.

If you're a pool person then some hotels will have free towel rental. Check with the hotel though.

You will have to check up with your phone branch. Most phones will (of course it will be a lot more expensive though so try and not use it so much), but some SIMs are not yet compatiable to work abroad, so just check up and if it isn't its pretty easy for the shop to sort out etc.

Don't forget travel insurance and an EHIC card as well - they really are necessities, as otherwise you could end up paying 4 figures plus if you get taken ill / have an accident.
