    Re: Kitten Conundrum
oh wow! why did you bring your kitten into a strange room with strange cats?? Talk about stressful! Obviously the mother was not going to let another cat near her new kittens!

Introducing cats can take a while! I had 1 cat who was almost a year old and we got 2 kittens that were around 4 months old, our cat took to one of them straight away but the other it took longer with.. You can't just expect them to get along!
Gradually letting them have contact or keeping them in different rooms and then switching them so they can get used to each others smell are the best ways to introduce cats

When you take the new kitten home they will probably react the same way, just introduce them slowly and be patient and definately dont leave them in the same room overnight lol

It probably won't take long because they are both young

Cool, I didn't think it would be so bad since my Kitten was still young. So it wouldn't exactly be a threat. They had met before too and they both seemed fairly relaxed although it was brief, so I didn't expect any aggression.
